July 13, 2009 we gathered as a community and watched the final stages of the Sparrow Gardens Ice Rink demolition. It was really neat but bitter sweet too as this building has been a part of the community from the beginning. We now have a brand new rink to replace it; Barkman Arena.

Spending a great holiday with Grandpa Isaak. Here Marcus is wearing his Georgia shirt and Grandpa's boots. He was pretty proud of himself. He enjoyed being with his grandpa for a week!
We all enjoyed the "quads" while on holidays. Marcus's car seat strapped into the front seat and he came along for the ride. He even fell asleep on my lap the first time. He learned a new word that day "quad". He was very sad when we returned the quads the next day, he would have ridden in them all day every day if we would have let him. Like father, like son, like grandson!! :)
