Pictures from Hiawassee, Georgia (USA)

After Ian's grad we took a trip down to Florida for a week then up to Georgia to the town where Ian grew up. We spent a week in Hiawassee, Georgia, USA. It is a beautiful town and there are many wonderful friends there! The pictures like to upload in reverse order and I don't know why so start at the bottom and scroll up for chronological order :)

We're here :) Hiawassee GA.

Windmill sitting on a hill as you leave Helen.

Driving through Helen Georgia, it's a quaint little town with horse drawn buggy rides, and everything looks very old and German. Even the Wendy's restaurant looked like this.

Starting to get into the twisty mountain roads. So green and so pretty

A crazy intersection/overpass area that we passed between Atlanta and Hiawassee-we are on the ground and there are 4 different overpasses above us. This little prairie girl didn't know what to do with herself. I did drive on the interstate though and am proud to say I didn't get honked at, cause any accidents or cry :)

Some long overdo pictures from October 2010-Jan2011

Excited to leave Regina airport for Grandpa Isaak's house

Making the best of being stranded in London for 4 days by going to Hamley's toy store

We also went to Snakes and ladders -it's an amazing playland for kids

at one of the 3 hotels we stayed in while in London

Tuckered out after a fun day seeing the sites of London-we took trains, buses, walked; played at Snakes and Ladders and visited Hamleys and the Apples Store all in one very fun and full day.

having a serious conversation with daddy about grace-not sure how much he remembers now but he listened very intently at the time.

Marc turns 3

Opening and playing with presents from the grandparents...

Blowing out the candle on the cake that Uncle Brent and Aunty Becca brought

Snuggling with "Fuzzy PJ" The old PJ got worn out and gross so I replaced him with a new one...he's still fuzzy so we call him "Fuzzy PJ" and Marc is not allowed to chew on him :) ya right...we try.

Very excited about his Thomas cake

Sept 2, 2010 Marc is 3!

I was so happy with how this turned out and it was so easy that I made it a second time for the grandparents when they came.

August 2010

Jenn and Marcus, Leslie, Trish and Lucas

Lucas and Marcus played so well together. Both fascinated with trucks and trains and dirt :)

Finally convinced him to touch the frog, then we had to convince him not to love it too much :)

Marc has no fear and we have to make sure he remembers to wait until we are ready before he jumps

His first arcade. He loved the little tickets that spit out of the machine and would get distracted by them :) he got 4 dinosaurs with the tickets...much more fun than shopping with Granny and mommy :)
